Covers the A1 heater block and does the job, but compared to the Bambu sock this one is a touch tight around the cylindrical neck. Had to warm the silicone under tap water before it sat right. Once on, no slipping.

Tried a universal sock earlier and it left the heater cartridge area open. This one has the square head plus that cylindrical neck so the block is actually covered. Soot isn't baking onto aluminium anymore.

Was getting mid-print slowdowns on long PLA jobs, nozzle temp swinging a little. After this sock the graph looks flatter. Maybe coincidence, but residue on the block is definitely less.

Sock itself is fine, heat protection is ok, but the gold CAUTION HOT text started rubbing off after I wiped filament gunk with a cloth. Still usable, just looks half printed now. Fit was also a hair loose on my A1 compared to the original.
